The Northamptonshire Beer Festival 2010 at Delapré Abbey is organised jointly by the Northants branch of CAMRA and the Friends of Delapré Abbey.

Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th May 2010.


[edit] Welland Valley Beer Festival

The Welland Valley Beer Festival is organised by a number of pubs in the Welland Valley area with assistance from Northants CAMRA.

  • 11th - 13th June 2010
  • 11 pubs taking part
  • Over 160 Different Real Ales
  • Special festival beer
  • Cider & Perry
  • Free heritage bus service on Saturday 12th June
  • Traditional pub food
  • Live entertainment

[edit] Queen Adelaide's V Festival

2nd - 5th September

  • V because it's in its fifth year and the names of the beers will start with the letter V
  • 30 beers plus ciders and perrys, including;
    • beers from the UK's most northerly brewery, Valhalla of Unst, Shetland
    • Great Oakley VOT (very old (matured) Tailshaker)
    • Potbelly Venom - cider!! (and possibly Crazy Daze) combination, yikes, headbangers form a queue

[edit] Red Lion, Middleton Beer Festival

3rd - 5th September

  • 10 Beers
  • Local Rockingham Forest Ciders and Perrys
  • Friday evening: Live music from Mr Bip and the Telstars
  • Saturday evening: Barn dance (Culpeppers Catch) along with a raffle to raise funds for the Cottingham Under 7s youth football team.
  • Pig Roast & BBQ

[edit] Stags Head, Maidwell Beer Festival

4th - 5th September (in association with Phipps NBC)

  • 15 Ales
  • Live Music and Entertainment

Venue - 'Ale Ville' in our extensive gardens!!
Times - Sat: 3 pm – late, live music and comedian
Sun: 12 pm – 6 pm, live music and entertainment

Supporting the two local charities so some small fundraising fun and games to aid our efforts in making someone else's life 'a little bit better'.

10th - 12th September (Now a seasonal event)

  • 10 Beers and Cider
  • BBQ on Friday and Saturday night
  • Everyone welcome- open lunchtime til late each day
