[edit] Triple Stamps 14 — Norfolk

Saturday 23rd January

A day trip to Norfolk to visit three breweries and a selection of Good Beer Guide pubs. Elmtree Brewery in Snetterton is our first port of call and then onto the Wolf Brewery just 10 minutes up the road at Attleborough. The Fat Cat Brewery in Norwich is the third one, then time permitting we'll have a couple of hours in Norwich. 07:00 start from Desborough, picking up kettering 07:15 Sainsburys, Northampton 07:40 Lumbertubs and 07:55 at the Malt Shovel Tavern. Wellingborough 08:20 Tesco A45. Arrive back in Northampton approx 21:00, Desborough 22:00. Cost £22, please book with the Social Secretary.

Thursday 4th February

A trip to the south-west of the county to survey pubs for the Good Beer Guide 2011. Minibus leaves at 18:00 from the Malt Shovel Tavern, Northampton.

Friday 19th February.

At the Piper, Kettering to present the award for Pub of the Season. Start 20:30.

Thursday 18th March

A visit to the Queen Victoria, Gayton (a Charles Wells pub) for a social night. Starts from 20:00.

Friday 1st April

A visit to four pubs on the first Friday of the month. This will be using the green Bristol bus.

[edit] 8th Welland Valley Beer Festival

Friday 11th June

We are running the Green Bus to this very popular festival. This year there are 10 pubs taking part with over 100 beers between them. Picking up from the Malt Shovel Tavern, Northampton at 18:00 and then on to Broad Green Wellingborough 18:30; the Piper, Kettering 18:50, please book with the Social Secretary.
