General Description

A warm welcome at this friendly 17th century ironstone freehouse which is family owned and run

Popular with locals either in the small cosy bar room or around the small bar area in the long comfy lounge

The lounge has three seating areas (one up steps) and further back is the popular restaurant

The Griffin has kept most of its original character and is festooned with fascinating artefacts in all the rooms

The separate restaurant serves a high quality but reasonably priced short menu
