General Description
A warm welcome at this friendly 17th century ironstone freehouse which is family owned and run
Popular with locals either in the small cosy bar room or around the small bar area in the long comfy lounge
The lounge has three seating areas (one up steps) and further back is the popular restaurant
The Griffin has kept most of its original character and is festooned with fascinating artefacts in all the rooms
The separate restaurant serves a high quality but reasonably priced short menu
Potbelly beers often guest as the pub is the local for one of Potbelly’s director/co-founder
