[edit] General Description

The Red Lion is a revitalised village local run as a family concern by Fiona & Kevin Barby. There are seperate restaurant and lounge areas, as well as a traditional wooden floored bar with darts and table skittles. The food is prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and all real ales and ciders are also sourced locally. Great Oakley Wot's Occuring is generally always available, with other Northamptonshire/Leicestershire breweries represented as guest beers. The Rockingham Forest Cider is pressed in the village and available throughout the Summer. Bed & Breakfast accomodation is available at the pub. Large, attractive beer garden at the rear.
